First of all I am a mom and soon to be wife(again), I have 3 wonderful kidos, Robbie (14) is in Tempe High School Honors Program and has been selected to be a part of the IB program. Josiah (7) is in 2nd grade and is doing wonderful in his classes. Elizabeth (5) just started kindergarten and her birthday is today, she's my baby girl and is so so excited about being in school now. My fiance is Rob (he was my high school crush), we have known each other for over 20+ years, we were out of contact for a while after high school and have recently gotten back in touch with each other and time does not seem to have been a factor for us.
Second I am a student, I have my AA in HealthCare Management, and am working on my BA in BioChemistry. I am considering changing my degree to BA in Speech and Hearing Science. This semester I am taking a couple of courses needed for that degree so that I can decide if I want to change my major. It has taken me a while to get thru college as for a while I was alone with my little ones after my husband passed away. But now I have the wonderful support of my fiance and my kidos to get thru college and finish my degree. Once I am done at ASU I am going to pursue a degree in Pharmacy to be a Pharmacist.
Third I am a student worker. I have been working at the Student Recreation Complex (SRC) since June of 2008. This has been an adventure since there are so many possibilities for areas to work in. This fall I am exploring some of the different areas in the SRC and so far it looks quite interesting.

ReplyDeleteIt's great to meet you! Your children, by the way, are very cute. I admire your ability to balance home, work, and education and wish you the best of luck juggling it all this semester! As someone who will be pursuing pharmacy, I bet you have a knack for science - it's always interesting to read analytical writing from the point of view of someone who has strengths in math or science. I'm looking forward to reading your posts. :-)
